"Russia Begins with Chukotka" is a film that immerses the viewer in the land of the rising sun.
Hundreds of whales and thousands of walruses coexist with arctic foxes and reindeer, while local residents and the ensemble ""Ergyron"" bring ancient traditions to life. The film explores what it means to be a ""real human"" at these latitudes and how people and nature interact in an extreme yet astonishingly beautiful environment.
We created a rich visual experience: icy landscapes, vast seascapes, and cultural rituals merge into a single stream of impressions—from expeditions at the ""Aleut"" base to scenes with local residents and ensemble artists.
And yes, we filmed beyond just Chukotka...
